Young Lebanese Students Excelled In Robotics At The World Robot Olympiad

Under the patronage of the Lebanese American University (LAU), the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Lebanon 2022 was held in Byblos (Jbeil), where young students from various schools participated and shared their skills in robotics.

Many of these young students, aged 12 to 19 years old, performed remarkably throughout the olympiad.

Here are the details:

In the RoboMission, the 1st place in Elementary (12-8) and Junior (15-13) was awarded to Edutech, whereas the first place in Senior (19-16) went to Saint Joseph School.

For Future Innovators, many students coming from different schools participated, and scored the following: in Elementary (12-8), the 1st and 2nd place went to Lycee Saint Nicolas.

The first place in Junior (15-13) was scored by Jamil Rawas Public School for Boys, and the first place in the Senior (19-16) category went to Champville, which also won in Future Engineers.

For the next stop, the winners will be representing Lebanon in the WRO International Competition 2022, which will take place in Germany from November 17 until November 19.
