Many talented young people of our beautiful Lebanon have been lately participating and winning in many local and international contests, dazzling the people all around the world. A very young talent of ours has recently done exactly that at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.
Lynn Hayek, a native of Tripoli in the North of Lebanon, was the 2016 champion of The Voice Kids. She recently went on scoring as well The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, an annual American children’s awards, becoming the “Favorite Arab Music Artist” of 2019 at 16 years of age.
Upon her nomination to the Nickelodeon’s, three weeks ago, Lynn Hayek posted a photo on her official Instagram page asking people to vote for her by using the hashtag #LEENELHAYEK.
People’s votes and love led this young Lebanese artist to win the title “Favorite Arab Music Artist.” The results were announced during a show held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California, and aired live across all of Nickelodeon’s international networks.
Hayek was thrilled by the results and more by the love of the public. She expressed her gratitude by reposting her photo from the official Instagram page of Nickelodeon Arabia, saying: “Thank you for your love and support. I love you.”
During the 2016 competition, Hayek was a team member of the legendary Iraki singer Kazem El-Saher. She attained the finals along with two other contestants from Syria: Zain Obeid, a team member of our Lebanese popular singer Nancy Ajram, and Amir Ammouri, team member of Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni.
It is worth mentioning that The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is an annual American children’s awards ceremony show produced by Nickelodeon. It is specialized in honoring the year’s biggest television, movie, and music performances as per the votes of the worldwide viewers of Nickelodeon networks.
