Lebanese basketball player, Youssef Khayat, has committed to Michigan Wolverines Men’s Basketball.
The 19-year-old player is originally from Lebanon but previously moved to France, and has been competing in the French professional league, Limoges, where he scored an average of 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
The 6-foot-8 (approx. 203 cm) forward also played for Lebanon’s national team, winning the country’s first FIBA Arab Championship.
According to On3, Khayat has been recruited by many college programs across the U.S., however, he chose Wolverines over Xavier, Wake Forest, and DePaul.
