Just 3 days into Lebanon’s 25-day lockdown instated to control the increasing spread of COVID-19, there are reports of an even stricter lockdown.
Cases have been rapidly increasing in Lebanon with each day breaking a new record. Today, over 5,414 new cases were recorded.
The anti-coronavirus committee of Lebanon is recommending a complete full lockdown of the entire country.
Among the reported recommendations by the committee is the complete closure of the Rafic Hariri International Beirut Airport for 1 week.
This is alongside the closure of all borders.
