After Lebanon’s National Basketball Team performed remarkably at the FIBA Asia Cup 2022, Lebanon’s U18 men’s basketball is now preparing to follow in the footsteps of its older peers.
The Lebanese U18 men’s basketball will be playing at the FIBA U18 Asian Championship 2022, which will be held in Iran from August 21 until August 28, 2022.
Team Lebanon is classified in Group A, along with Iran and Japan. The Lebanese players are set to play in the group phase on August 21 against the Iranian team, and on August 22, against the Japanese team.
Other countries participating in this championship event include China, Korea, and India (Group B), and Chinese Taipei, the Philippines, Syria, and Qatar (Group C).
