The Lebanese Tennis Federation shared that referee Joy Khalil participated in the Wimbledon Qualification Competition Tournament played annually in London, England.
The Wimbledon Championships, also known as Wimbledon, is one of the oldest and most famous tennis tournaments in the world and is widely perceived as one of the most prestigious competitions.
In April 2022, the Lebanese Tennis Federation announced that Joy Khalil was selected to be a Line Umpire at the prestigious qualifying event for Wimbledon 2022.
The Line Umpire’s main role is to aid the Chair Umpire in determining if a ball falls within or outside of the borders of the court.
