Internships at 961 are for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Journalism program as well as any Media or Communications program (or similar).
Positions are reserved for students who require an internship for course credit as part of their requirements to graduate – however, exceptions can be made for passionate candidates.
All internships, unless otherwise stated, are unpaid. Expenses and other costs related to fulfilling your duties as an intern will be reimbursed.
The key benefit of an internship at 961 is that you will be given the opportunity to gain meaningful experience at one of the fastest-growing Lebanese media companies.
You will gain hands-on experience and develop complementary skills outside of your field of work (journalism, social media, photo/video, writing, etc.) that are necessary in today’s digital media world.
Internships can be tailored to one or more of the following areas of interest:
- Writing and reporting
- Social media
- Video production (camera and editing)
- Photography
We offer both full-time and part-time internships. Full-time positions are Monday-Friday and part-time are Saturday-Sunday.
We take all our work seriously and expect the same from our interns. We’re looking for dedicated people who are passionate about Lebanon, align with our mission and values, and are disciplined in their work.
