With over 20 years of experience, Lebanese chef Elie Lteif was appointed as the Culinary Advisor at Nestlé Professional MENA earlier this year.
Initially specializing in French cuisine, Ltfeif kicked off his career in Lebanon where he worked for some of the most popular international restaurants like Le Bistro De Beirut and Entrecote de Paris.
His experience quickly took him to the illustrious kitchens of Buddha Bar, Le Royal Hotel Beirut, and Le Noir Motion Lounge, and later pulled him to the United Arab Emirates.
After many executive chef roles and experimenting with more than 15 different types of cuisine over the years, he joined the team at Nestlé Professional MENA to take on a brand new role as Culinary Advisor.
Nestlé Professional is a food and beverage solutions provider that offers high-quality ingredients, operational knowledge, and support to food service operations and businesses across the region.
In his work, current trends he will focus on are the plant-based, vegan, and flexitarian lifestyles, he said in an interview with Hotel and Catering News Middle East, the region’s leading source for hospitality and F&B industry news.
“I will be focusing on driving SWEET EARTH® as one of Nestlé’s brands, bringing it to life in restaurant and hotel menus by creating new recipes using this high-end range,” Lteif said.
