The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities and the Ministry of Tourism in Lebanon issued a decision a few weeks ago that sets a
for valet parking which is LBP 5,000. Unfortunately, not all companies that offer valet services are adhering to this law. So, a lot of people are getting charged more than LBP 5,000.
Call 1735
For this reason, the Ministry of Tourism is inspecting the parking lots in Lebanon and reporting the valet companies that are violating the new law. The Minister of Tourism Avedis Guidanian said that the licenses of the companies that break the law twice will get suspended. Also, people can call 1735, the hotline of the Ministry of Tourism, to report a violation.
