Lebanese singer, Wael Kfoury, has launched a new initiative of support for the students of his hometown, Zahle, to provide them all with free textbooks.
The singer announced his initiative in a video broadcasted at a graduation ceremony at a school in the Zahle area, in partnership with the parents’ council in the school.
The Caretaker Minister of Industry, George Boushkian praised the Lebanese singer for launching such an initiative.
“It is a remarkable and distinctive step towards the students of his hometown, for he is keen on raising the new generation’s enthusiasm about science and specialization,” Boushkian said.
Praising the town and the singer, Boushkian commented: “Zahle is the town of culture, poets, writers, and artists. Thank you, Wael. We are by your side!”
