Calling all book lovers! The world’s largest floating bookfair, Logos Hope, has officially docked at the Port of Beirut.
Logos Hope has just opened its doors for Lebanese bookworms on December 16th and is expected to set sail, once again, on December 31st.
This ship is home to thousands of collections of books and it gives you the opportunity to meet the ship’s international crew, consisting of 65 nationalities.
Logos Hope is an NGO that partners with numerous organizations, for its ship to visit each port of call for several weeks, opening daily to hundreds and thousands of visitors.
“We’re an international ship sharing knowledge, help, and hope through literature, cultural understanding, relief work, and much more,” the NGO states on its Facebook page.
The ship is now docked at the west end of the port of Beirut. The entrance fee is 20,000 LBP and is free for children under the age of 12 and for adults over 65.
