The Lebanese fashion brand, Elie Saab, officially launched virtually in the Metaverse, in an attempt to dive into the world of digital fashion.
The fashion house collaborated with the luxury brand NFT platform, UNXD, to participate in the Decentraland Metaverse Fashion Week, which took place between March 24 and 27.
“We are talking decades of craftsmanship and vision into the future by exploring the relationship between the physical and the metaphysical,” said CEO Elie Saab Jr. to AEWorld.
“Embracing digital innovation allows us to expand the horizons of the ELIE SAAB universe to new communities and push our boundaries within this world,” he added.
The Lebanese have been quick to embrace the NFT world, demonstrating their progress-geared characteristic toward exploration of the newness.
They are entering the virtual and digital world with their skills and talents to be among the first celebrated people to influence the world of technology and the NFT universe.
In recent times, Rami Kadi launched the first human-computer couture. Lebanese award-winning contemporary artist Kristel Bechara stands as the first female artist in the Middle East to launch painting as NFTs.
Ginger Potter, a young Lebanese NFT artist, got his NFT arts sold out on OpenSea, and Lebanese-British artist, Nour Hage launched digital art pieces on OpenSea, inspired by the role of women in leadership.
That’s to add The Metapreneurs with Lebanese founders, the biggest elite community of successful entrepreneurs in the Metaverse, with a collection of 11,111 unique NFTs stored in the Ethereum blockchain.
