The 7th edition of the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival 2022 will feature the multi-awarded documentary, Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour.
The film festival is taking place online from July 1 until July 31, and in theaters from July 21 until July 31, showcasing numerous works, including the Lebanese documentary.
Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour highlights Lebanon’s main issues, including the years-long corruption, embezzlement of funds, and the post-war political status quo that brought the country to collapse.
The documentary is directed and written by Daizy Gedeon, and produced by Patrick Rohr. It features special appearances by Elie Saab, Tom Fletcher, Frances Guy, George Khabbaz, Dr. James Zogby, and more.
Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour has already won several prestigious awards, including the Movie That Matters Award at the 2021 Cannes International Film Festival, and Best Documentary at the Vesuvius International Film Fest, among others.
The documentary was also officially selected for the Toronto International Women Film Festival (2021), Beverly Hills Film Festival (2022), and the Cinque Ports International Documentary Film Festival (2022).
