On Monday, a grass fire broke out in Beirut, and according to the Beirut municipality, the firefighters managed to control it.
Youssef Al-Mallah of the Civil Defense explained that the fire was limited to the grass and did not extend to the trees, and it happened from the Tayouneh side.
He added that the Civil Defense, with the support of the Beirut Fire Brigade, was able to put it out, while the cause of the fire was not yet clear.
