In a statement issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces (ISF), it was disclosed that a patrol from the Anti-Terrorism and Important Crimes Office in the Judicial Police Unit arrested a man suspected of drug smuggling to territories outside Lebanon.
The man named by his initials A. F. is 27-year-old, of Lebanese nationality, and was arrested in the Industrial City of Zahle.
The suspect was accompanied by another Lebanese man, M. H., age 30, in a Mercedes car. He was also arrested and the car was seized.
Based on the pertinent judiciary, both detainees were entrusted to the Central Narcotics Control Office for further investigation.
