On July 30, the Lebanese race car driver Alex Demirdjian took part in Total 24 Hours of Spa race, an annual event in Belgium, where he ranked third. He raced the Blancpain GT series race. This race is one of the most challenging ones in the world because it lasts for a whole day and the weather conditions in the region where the race is taking place is challenging. So, the driver must remain focused for 24 hours and the car should be able to cope with all the pressure. In fact, there were 64 participants in this race. Demirdjian raced in the Ferrari 488 GT3 which proudly displayed the Lebanese flag along with the Armenian flag with the words “Drive for Life” written on the door shell. This race was challenging for Demirdjian and his team. However, their great team spirit helped them rank third in this prestigious car race.
Alex Demirdjian is also the CEO of many companies in Lebanon including Demco Steel Industries, a family business. Demco Steel is the leader of the steel market in the region. This company’s business expands in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.
