Annahar reported the arrival of army reinforcements to Jeb Jannine following a problem between candidates’ delegates regarding the results.
A clash started when the delegates expressed their disapproval of the election fraud that is happening in the area with pro-Hezbollah delegates’ attempts to switch votes in favor of Hassan Mourad and Elie Ferzli.
The clash soon evolved into the locals protesting the possible voting fraud in their district.
Fraudulent acts of switching votes by Hezbollah delegates were also observed at the end of Election Day, on May 15th, notably in Jawar Al-Hashish in Baalbak-Hermel Governate, with the scene caught on camera.
