Yesterday on OTV, a fight broke between two guests on a Lebanese talk show called
Bel Mubashar
. Sheikh Bilal Damqaq and a previous member of the Syrian parliament Ahmad Chlech disagreed on the topic of the Syrian crisis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYFTInjnYhA The latter supports President Bashar Al Assad while Sheikh Bilal Damqaq is against him. According to Chlech, he started the fight because the Sheikh disrespected Bashar and the Syrian people. Sheikh Bilal Damqaq posted a video on Facebook apologizing to the fight that happened on national television. He denies disrespecting Syrians and he hopes they get home safely. Also, he said that he hopes the people of Syria will “clean” their country “from garbage like Ahmad Chlech, Bashar and people like them.” https://www.facebook.com/bilalddd/videos/860671394086888/ However, the interview continued with Ahmad Chlech only. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrJTRXHTuoU This is not the first time a fight breaks on a Lebanese channel. Maybe it’s time for people to learn how to behave while debating and keep their cool when the topic is heating up.
