The BE Petroleum Engineering graduate from the Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), Jerome Sfeir, has won first place in the Pivot 2022 Disruptive Research Competition.
This “huge milestone,” as Sfeir suggested, comes after he received 43% of the total votes among 5 finalists.
After winning this competition, the Ph.D. candidate at Texas A&M University will receive $100,000 for his research idea to come back for PIVOT2023 and share his findings.
Jerome Sfeir also highlighted that the won cash price will be disbursed to the research project account.
