Beirut Club kicked off their matches in the group stage of the 23rd Arab Women’s Basketball Club Championship, which is currently taking place in Tunisia until September 28, 2022.
The Beirut Club players scored a 69-50 victory over their Algerian counterparts. However, the match saw the injury of the player Leila Fares who was taken to hospital for treatment.
It is noteworthy that Lebanese basketball players are reviving hope in Lebanese people with their performance and high level of professionalism in international championships, shining brilliantly abroad.
