After closing its doors due to sustaining major damages from Beirut’s port explosion, Coop D’Etat is back on its feet and ready to serve its loyal customers!
Known for the stunning view the venue has on Charles Helou Station and its delicious cocktails, the city’s famous rooftop Coop D’Etat has always been a must-visit place for fun hangouts with friends and family.
Unfortunately, on August 4th, Coop D’Etat was severely impacted by the Beirut port explosion, as the damage was seen at least two miles from the deadly blast.
Back then, the restaurant’s management shared a picture of the destruction on its Instagram with an emotional caption announcing that they will not be able to rebuild for the purpose of not benefiting those in power with bribes and taxes anymore.
However, thanks to the help and support of local fundraisers, the rooftop bar is now ready to welcome people to experience its cozy ambiance and the magnificent view of the coastline.
Coop D’Etat is even having a New Year’s eve event on the 31st, with all safety measures implemented.
