Arc en Ciel, the NGO supporting Lebanon’s marginalized communities since the Lebanese civil war, is organizing the event-premiere of Costa Brava, Lebanon on Tuesday, August 30 at 6:00 p.m. at Galaxy Complex showroom, Baabda, Lebanon.
Costa Brava, Lebanon revolves around a family in Lebanon who moves to the mountains to get away from Beirut’s pollution. To their surprise, they wake up one day to a garbage landfill built outside of their home.
The film is directed by Mounia Akl and starred Nadine Labaki, Nadia Charbel, Saleh Bakri, Seana Restom, Geana Restom, Liliane Khoury, François Nour, Youmna Marwan, and Muhyiddin Al Karra.
The main aim behind the avant-premiere of this multi-awarded film is to collect funds to support Arc En Ciel’s environmental initiatives.
The ticket price is LBP 150,000 and can be booked at Arc En Ciel’s centers. The movie will start at 7:00 pm.
It is worth mentioning that Costa Brava, Lebanon will be screening in Lebanese movie theatres starting this September.
