The triathlon consists of swimming, cycling, and trail running in challenging conditions, such as weather, elevation change, and course profile.

For the first time this year, Lebanon took part in this international race.  The participation of the sports adventurer Dr. Lindos Daou, representing Lebanon, was previously announced from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK ( Business School faculty).

Daou pitted 250 participants from 40 countries, challenging the rigidity of the track, the large differences in altitude (up to 5500 meters), and the bad weather that accompanied him in this exciting adventure.

At five o'clock in the morning, Daou took the challenge of swimming in Ascona lake, continuing with the 180-km cycling race, passing through three snow-covered mountain passes at more than 2000 meters of altitude.

He then took the toughest challenge, where he walked for 42 km (marathon), ending the race ahead of a large number of participants who could not finish the challenge.

On the finish line, Daou pointed out that this challenge was the most difficult in his career. It required great physical readiness, in addition to remaining in a solid-state of mind in order to be able to continue the race to the end without fatigue.

He thanked all those who contributed to this great challenge, sending a message to the Lebanese youth to compete in similar international competitions that raise the name of Lebanon in international sporting events.
